    Thanks for these useful references.

    The conclusions seem to be:
    1. Weight loss = energy out – energy in, ie no news is no news
    2. There’s not enough meaningful research to say anything much about ICR diets
    3. If any claim can be dared then it may be that lean mass might be better retained in ICR diets and there may be body changes that help protect against disease

    And I thought that an ICR diet would make me live forever – next time I’m coming back as a mouse…
