As the government destroys the welfare state, health insurance will become more relevant, but who will insure someone with a dementia diagnosis? What about insurance for other things? How will their motor insurers or their holiday insurers react? Or what will happen when they want a warden-controlled flat and are told “sorry, we don’t take people with dementia”?
